Mali Professor Sentenced for Criticising Military Junta

  Étienne Fakaba Sissoko  Ã‰tienne Fakaba Sissoko has been sentenced to two years in jail, with one year suspended, and fined 3 million CFA francs ($4,900) for defamation and  fake news broadcasting. He was charged as a result of his book, "Propaganda, Agitation, and Harassment." This book is seems to criticizes the military junta that seized power in 2020. Human rights groups see Sissoko's case as part of a broader restrain on objection. His lawyer plans to appeal.

 On the United Showbiz, the Rockhill Chapel founder and gospel musician Sonnie Badu discloses the causes of his domestic accident incident that ended him up at the hospital.   "Thursday dawn when I realized the sprinkle of water in the compound I became happy because the water had stopped for a time, I decided to water my flower. Unfortunately, I slipped off the small staircase between my car park and the swimming pool and fell". He stated  "I was rushed to the hospital and underwent 2 hours of surgery at the hospital.
