Expanding the Horizons: Ghana's Creative Industry Beyond Music -Perez Musik

In an interview on Woezor TV's "Tune Talk," creative industry stakeholders gathered to discuss the need for a more inclusive and diverse approach to the Ghanaian entertainment sector. Perez Musik, highlighted the importance of moving beyond the traditional focus on music and exploring the vast potential of other creative arts.

He stated certain areas that can be focused on when we talk of creativity and entertainment of Ghana;

​Fashion

​Comedy

​Poetry and Spoken Word

​Artisanship

​Magic

​Film

​Perez Musik emphasized that each of these creative arts has the potential to employ dozens, if not hundreds, of people. For instance, a single film production can hire over 200 individuals, while a musician's tour may involve a band and support staff 

​He expressed a desire for the creative industry of Ghana to become more self-reliant and less dependent on government support. By building and expanding the Horizons of  Ghana's Creative Industry Beyond Music
